Abstract Using a symmetry-preserving regularisation of vector $$\times $$ × contact interaction (SCI), we complete systematic treatment twelve semileptonic transitions with meson final states: $$D\rightarrow \rho D → ρ , $$D_{(s)}\rightarrow K^*$$ ( s ) K ∗ $$D_s\rightarrow \phi ϕ $$B\rightarrow B $$B_s\rightarrow $$B_{(s)}\rightarrow D_{(s)}^*$$ $$B_c \rightarrow B_{(s)}^*, J/\psi D^*$$ c , J / ψ ; and thereby finalise unified analysis decays heavy + light pseudoscalar mesons to both states. The is marked by algebraic simplicity, few parameters, the ability consistently describe systems from Nambu-Goldstone modes mesons. Regarding behaviour transition form factors, SCI results compare well wherever sound experimental or independent theory analyses are available; hence, branching fraction predictions should be reasonable guide. Considering ratios $$R(D_{(s)}^{(*)})$$ R $$R(J/\psi )$$ $$R(\eta _c)$$ η whose values key tests lepton universality in weak interactions, agree Standard Model predictions. used predict precursor functions that evolve into universal Isgur–Wise function heavy-quark limit, conform those other sources where such available. study also exposes effects on factors flow interference between emergent hadron mass strong Higgs boson couplings via current-quark masses, including flavour symmetry violation.

Semileptonic decays of heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons
I discuss the results of a recent quenched lattice calculation of the two independent form factors parametrizing the semileptonic decays between heavy-light pseudoscalar mesons. The differential decay rate of the process B → Dℓν has been calculated at non vanishing momentum transfer both in the case of the light leptons ℓ = e, µ and in the case of a non vanishing lepton mass ℓ = τ.
متن کاملSemileptonic decay of a heavy-light pseudoscalar to a light vector meson
Semileptonic decays of heavy-light mesons are of interest because they can be used to determine elements of the CKM matrix. The nonperturbative QCD information needed to understand a decay can be calculated in lattice QCD. In the case of the decays D → K∗ and Ds → φ the branching ratios have been accurately measured and the relevant CKM matrix element (Vcs) is well determined by other methods [...

We have computed the form factors for B → π andD → K(π) semileptonic decays on the lattice by using full non-perturbative O(a) improvement, in the quenched approximation. Our results are expressed in terms of few parameters which describe the q2-dependence and normalization of the form factors. After combining our results for B → πlνl decay with the measured branching ratio, we obtain |Vub| = (...
متن کاملHeavy to Light Semileptonic Transitions in the Heavy Quark Effective Theory
The scaling behavior of semileptonic form-factors in Heavy to Light transitions is studied in the Heavy Quark Effective Theory. In the case ofH → πeν it is shown that the same scaling violations affecting the heavy meson decay constant will be present in the semileptonic form-factors.
متن کاملForm factor relations for heavy-to-heavy and heavy-to-light meson transitions.
Relations between the form factors that parametrize the hadronic matrix elements, in spectator decays of heavy mesons, have been derived by Stech within the constituent quark model. In here, we examine these relations using a slightly modified description of the meson states. We find new and very general relations for some of the form factors. For the other form factors, we obtain small modific...
